Why is customer service important to success? – Breaktime Breakthoughs

What do usually we think of when we hear the word ‘customer service’? Do we picture people answering calls in offices or waiting tables at restaurants? But customer service is a concept that isn’t limited to the service industry, and it’s important to change the way you view customer service in order for us to live a fuller life.

According to Mondo Castro, a training and management consultant, ultimately, customer service is connected to the creation of value for your company. In an episode of Breaktime Breakthroughs on Plus Network, Castro shares more about the importance of customer service. He says that customer service is essential to both personal and professional relationships and that how you treat others determines your level of success.

While most of us believe that customer service is limited solely limited to those who serve on the frontlines of a service-oriented company, it is actually much more than that. Customer service actually permeates all areas of existence and, according to Castro, is a cable that strings up our day-to-day events into one cohesive ball of integrity. It is the foundation from which everything stems, and since customer service encompasses all areas, it follows that we are covered by this cosmic agreement.

It is important to remember that every one of us is into customer service and everyone is a customer. Everyone from each industry and corporation, and there are no exceptions. Depending on how we look at customer service, we are either maximizing or limiting our chance to grow and succeed in life.
