With this in mind, Training and Management Consultant Mondo Castro asks businesses about how they can bring and <strong>add value<\/strong> to the<strong> lives of their customers<\/strong> and why it is important to <strong>gain their trust.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In an <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=yGCoMpgsR68\">episode<\/a><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=yGCoMpgsR68\"> <\/a>of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/watch\/114773990073425\/1161800131319161\"><strong>Breaktime Breakthroughs<\/strong><\/a> on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/MyPlusNetwork\/\"><strong>Plus Network<\/strong><\/a>, Castro talks about the importance of businesses bringing and<strong> adding value<\/strong> to the<strong> lives of their customers.<\/strong> Castro quotes author John C. Maxwell, who in his book Law of Addition, stated that <strong><em>\u201cpeople need to consciously add value to others.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> Using this same logic, people who don\u2019t add to the lives of others are actually <strong>subtracting from them<\/strong>, which is why the success of a business depends on its <strong>vision<\/strong> and its <strong>leader<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Leaders, according to Castro, should add value to the people in their periphery by <strong>serving them instead of lording over them<\/strong>. The term<strong> \u201cvalue-added service,\u201d<\/strong> meanwhile, involves <strong>dispatching add-ons to your utilities <\/strong>in both the professional and personal level. It\u2019s not enough to just satisfy the needs of customers, but to be <strong>excellent. <\/strong>Instead of merely being good, the basic building block of service is <strong>excellence, <\/strong>wherein the needs and expectations of customers are <strong>not only met, but exceeded<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other hand, the the zenith of the vision of a business is to<strong> obtain fans <\/strong>whose needs and expectations are <strong>exceeded beyond imagining.<\/strong> Castro shares a quote from Martin Luther King Jr. that states that <strong><em>\u201ceveryone can be a great leader because everyone can serve.\u201d <\/em><\/strong>He then shares an example of how a simple change in the operation of a business can add value to the lives of their customers.
