It is all about giving oneself because it is all about the coachee or mentee and goes against the grain of self-centeredness that we see today in society. Reyes emphasizes the importance of being kind and sharing one\u2019s knowledge in order to be a positive influence in the life of another person.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of the people that he has mentored go on to become good mentors themselves, and for Reyes, that is the real return of coaching and mentoring. He advises that organizations should have their coaches on the internal and external levels, as coaching improves their talent and improves their processes. An important factor in being a mentor in an organization is raising the engagement in people to improve their productivity.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ultimately, Reyes believes that the issues we face cannot be solved by the heroic individual alone and it is important for teams of leaders to come together. It is important for coaches and mentors to develop leaders to help them better battle the ills or the negatives of society.
