If you\u2019re Ali Baba, who needs 40 thieves?<\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Small ideas have more widespread applications.<\/em><\/strong> An efficiency-enhancing idea at the factory shop floor can be applied at home, or vice versa.&nbsp; Often big ideas have limited applications, but smaller ideas can be tweaked to apply to most situations or environments.<\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Small ideas abound more.&nbsp; <\/em><\/strong>Ideas are like gold.&nbsp; It\u2019s easier to find small nuggets in a river than the mother lode in a big mine.&nbsp; When you start with small nuggets, you\u2019d often find slightly bigger nuggets as you continue panning.<\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Big ideas can often become disruptive and destructive. <\/em><\/strong>Unless you are prepared for groundbreaking ideas, be content with pursuing smaller ideas first.&nbsp; First gain the experience and competence to handle bigger ideas before going after the big ones.&nbsp; Believe me, some people aren\u2019t ready to handle earthshaking successes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Steve Jobs had a great advice, \u201cIf you haven&#8217;t found it yet, keep looking. Don&#8217;t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you&#8217;ll know when you find it.
